Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is one of the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous TV shows. She was born in Northern Virginia. She is the middle child from two siblings. She was raised by her two sisters living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in the television industry by appearing on a number of National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For this performance, she received a nomination in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for the Best Actress Award. The actress has also appeared on television programs like How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych, and Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting character in Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an uninvolved comedian on You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was cast in The General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which was telecast on primetime television. In season 2 called Night Shift Ghanizada was the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. In 2009, Ghanizada played Kelly a Prada sales girl on HBO's Entourage as well as joining the cast of the television show's pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan, as well as the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
